Welcome To Tottenville Racquet Club
Tottenville Racquet Club is located at 36 Sprague Avenue in Tottenville. Our club is one of the few on Staten Island that boasts four American clay tennis courts. It is in a nice quiet residential area with street parking.
Clay tennis courts have many benefits as it is forgiving and easier on the joints rather than hard surfaced tennis courts. Ours are maintained well to give excellent play on all levels. There are doubles play and singles play. The club typically opens on May 1 and closes on November 1.
Our members are friendly and congenial, and many friendships have formed over the years within this club. We have a small clubhouse with a rest room facility. If you would like to bring any food or beverage to keep cool, we have a refrigerator for your use.

Our Activities
Summer Camp
There is a youth tennis summer camp with a private instructor. It is all day
from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and starts at the end of the school year in June and
runs till the last week in August. It is reserved by the week for as many
weeks you choose. If interested, please let us know and we can provide
the instructor’s name and contact number
Social Tuesdays
We have a fun and informal social night on Tuesdays at 4:00 pm when
tennis play starts and then members gather afterwards for the social/wine night
for the dinner hour. You have a choice of ordering in some food with the
group or you can bring your own. It’s also BYOB.
Seasonal Picnics
We have two seasonal picnics and friendly tournament play with a prize
for the winners at the end of the games. The First Serve picnic typically
is in June and the Second Serve picnic is in either September or October.
This is a fun social gathering of members and the club provides the water, hot
dogs and hamburgers. Many members contribute with a small side dish of
their choice or dessert which makes this event such an enjoyable one!
